Report content
Found a review that breaks our guidelines? Tell us. This page is the fallback; the fastest route is the Report link on the review itself.
Effective 10 August 2026
Plain-language draft. These terms were written by the site’s founder, not a lawyer, and have not yet been reviewed by one. They say how we intend to run HomeTruths; they are not legal advice, and we may revise them.
The quickest way
Every review, tip and Google-sourced card on a residence page has a Report link beneath it. Using that link tells us exactly which piece of content you mean, which saves a round of emails. You don’t need an account.
If you can’t find the review
Use the form below and describe it. The residence name and roughly what it says is enough for us to find it.

What we will remove
Anything that breaks the Review Guidelines: reviews naming individual staff, accusations of criminal conduct against a named person, content from someone who never lived there, incentivised or coordinated posting, personal information, abuse, and spam.
What we won’t remove
A negative review is not a rule-breaking review. We don’t remove criticism of a building, a developer or a management company because its subject disagrees with it. That criticism is the reason this site exists. If a review is factually wrong, tell us what actually happened and we’ll weigh it.
If you own or manage the building
Write to legal@hometruths.io with the residence name in the subject line, the review you mean, and specifically what is inaccurate. We aim to acknowledge within 7 days. We will not disclose who wrote a review.
Right of reply
We’d rather hear your side than not, and there is now a route for it rather than an email address. Open your building’s page and use “Manage this building? Reply publicly” at the bottom of it.
Your reply is published beside the reviews, never in place of them, and the review is unchanged. Nothing publishes automatically: we check who a reply came from first, and the published reply carries a note stating exactly what we confirmed and what we did not. We don’t fact-check what a reply says any more than we fact-check what a review says. Readers get both accounts and can judge.
Replies that name the reviewer, or any individual, are declined. That rule is the same one the reviews are held to.
