They cashed the handover cheque nearly 7 months before the actual handover date. Despite multiple complaints and requests, the amount was never refunded or adjusted. “One of the worst real estate investment experiences I’ve ever had in the UAE. My experience with Binghatti has been extremely disappointing from both an investor and end-user perspective. 1. They cashed the handover cheque nearly 7 months before the actual handover date. Despite multiple complaints and requests, the amount was never refunded or adjusted. My funds were taken for months without justification, depriving me of the ability to invest or benefit from my own money during that period. 2. The project handover was significantly delayed compared to the date contractually communicated and committed. 3. The handover process itself was handled very poorly. The focus appeared to be on pushing units through delivery rather than genuinely resolving snagging and quality issues. Most concerns were treated superficially. 4. The post-handover maintenance quality during warranty has been unacceptable — especially recurring plumbing problems that have still not been resolved properly after almost 10 months. This has negatively impacted both the living experience and the investment value/rental potential of the unit. For a company positioning itself as a premium developer, the gap between branding and actual customer experience is massive. I strongly advise investors and buyers to think very carefully before investing in their projects unless there is serious improvement in customer care, accountability, construction quality, and after-sales support.”
