“Living in Hoor 1 Tower has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.The building management does absolutely nothing to maintain the property. The hallways often smell dirty, and the behavior of the security staff toward guests is extremely rude. The AC units break down frequently, and you’re forced to stay in the heat for days. There’s constant noise in the building, and the management will never return your deposit. If you’re looking for peace of mind, stay away from this building — and especially from the building manager, Mohammed”

“Living in Hoor 1 Building. Very bad service from the building. They are not turning on the Corridor AC in the floors. Hence molds started growing near the AC vents. God knows how the condition will be inside the vents. We always put our AC on to 22 during night and 23.5 during day. And because of the molds, we started noticing a strange odour whenever we come back to the flat. And as others mentioned, there is always a meat odour in the building because of nearby meat shop. Most of the tenants don't have car. And the outside parking is very difficult during all most every time. So when we ask for guest parking, they don't allow it even though there's plenty of vacant parking space in the building. And lots of cockroaches inside the building even though we clean the flat every time before we go to sleep. We never keep the garbage overnight in the flat and the kitchen is always kept clean. This is caused by bachelors staying in the building or family sharing. The manager(he never picks the calls or replies to whatsapp messages) and the staff(excluding security) never listens or understands to the tenants. I will never renew the tenancy contract in this building. My kids are always ill from the day we started living here.”

“Hoor 1 Building in Al Barsha 1 – One of the Worst Living Experiences in Dubai I strongly advise against living in Hoor 1 Building, Al Barsha 1, Dubai. This building has been a consistent source of stress and frustration due to its poor maintenance, unprofessional staff, and overall lack of basic living standards. Major Issues Faced: Poor Plumbing & Fixtures: The toilets (water closets) are not properly installed or leveled, leading to usage discomfort. The kitchen sinks are also tilted, causing water to collect on one side instead of draining properly—completely unacceptable in any functional kitchen. Persistent Foul Odors: Each bathroom has a constant unpleasant sewage-like smell coming from the toilet bowls. This isn’t just uncomfortable—it’s unhygienic and unacceptable in a residential property. Corridor Air Conditioning Turned Off: The air conditioning in the building corridors is deliberately turned off, which leads to heavy moisture buildup and high humidity inside individual units, especially when you're away at work and everything inside your apartment is switched off. This creates a muggy, damp atmosphere that affects air quality, promotes mold, and damages personal belongings over time. Unprofessional Maintenance Staff: The building staff are unhelpful and often rude. Instead of resolving maintenance issues, they act arrogantly and dismiss tenant concerns. One staff member in particular, Atif (Egyptian national), has been consistently disrespectful, unprofessional, and extremely difficult to deal with. His attitude is shockingly poor and far below the standards expected in Dubai’s residential sector. Disgusting Ground Floor Odor: There is a meat shop located on the ground floor that emits a strong, revolting smell, similar to rotting meat or a dead animal. The stench regularly wafts into the building and surrounding area, making the entrance incredibly unpleasant.”

“Living in Hoor 1 Building has been a deeply disappointing experience. The building is extremely poorly managed, and the staff consistently show a lack of concern for residents' needs. Despite repeated complaints, they refuse to turn on the corridor air conditioning, which has caused serious moisture and humidity issues—especially when residents are not at home. One of the main issues stems from a staff member named Atif (an Egyptian national), whose behavior has been particularly unprofessional and dismissive. Rather than helping solve problems, he often adds to the frustration with his rude and careless attitude. Overall, Hoor 1 is one of the worst buildings to live in. I strongly advise others to avoid it unless major improvements are made in maintenance and staff professionalism.”

“living in this building seems like you are a prisoner. the security watch all the movement in the building to the point that they are treating the cctv as their personal tv. they knew all the movements inside the building. be ready to accept that even though you leave the flat clean and tidy they will charge you everything including the replace ment of the hot and cold mixer of the shower and all the faucet to the point that even your deposit is not enough to cover the cost that they invented. your last resort is to contact the manager mohamad who is the head of this scam. you will end up calling daily or every hour to follow up for nothing and in the end you will realize that its not worth it to get back your money dealing with this kind of people who dont care about your money coz its not their money. iam sure this is. ot the first time if all the violated people will come all together to complain them iam sure they will penalized for it. it obviously abuse to people.”
