“I definitely do not recommend this building to anyone. Since the day I moved in, I have been dealing with serious issues and I have not received proper support from the building management. The problems are not being solved and are only getting worse.
1. Pest / insect problem
There are constantly insects in the garbage room, and I believe they are entering the apartments through the drains. I arranged pest control for my own apartment, and they confirmed that there was no nest, eggs, or source inside my unit. They said the issue is most likely coming from outside the apartment. Despite this, no serious or permanent action has been taken for the building as a whole. This is the biggest issue…”

“I definitely do not recommend this building to anyone. Since the day I moved in, I have been dealing with serious issues and I have not received proper support from the building management. The problems are not being solved and are only getting worse.
1. Pest / insect problem

2. Water leakage and damage in the bathroom
There was a water leakage above the bathroom ceiling, and water came through the ceiling into the bathroom. As a result, the bathroom was damaged and some of my belongings were also affected. Instead of fixing the issue, management is trying to say that it is my responsibility. I do not even have access to that ceiling area. This looks like a building maintenance or plumbing issue, and I believe it is happening because proper maintenance is not being done.
3. Apartment was handed over dirty and with plumbing issues
When I received the apartment, it was dirty. There was also a plumbing issue during the move-in period; the faucet burst, and my electronic items under the bathroom sink were damaged. No serious action was taken regarding this either.
4. Dirty and unhygienic pool
The pool is often dirty. There are dead insects, residue, and very unhygienic conditions on the surface of the water. This is very concerning and could create a health risk for residents.
5. Bird nests in the parking area
There are bird nests on the ceiling of the parking area. Bird droppings constantly fall onto the cars, creating both hygiene issues and possible damage to vehicles. No proper solution has been provided for this problem either.
Overall:
The building is very poorly managed. Complaints are not handled properly, problems are not solved, and residents’ concerns are ignored. In terms of hygiene, maintenance, plumbing, and management, my experience has been extremely negative. I would strongly advise anyone considering moving here to avoid this building.”

“Have stayed here almost 2 years. Most part has been okay but have moved within the building and the experience from management has been incredibly poor.
Lack of commitment - told dates for moving apartment that were delayed weeks.
Security deposit issues - extreme overcharging when leaving, likely to lose close to full security deposit despite the apartment handed back in near identical condition.
Wifi - advertise free wifi but barely works
Amenities - closed for months & months while minor renovations made. Any form of changes take too long.
Billing / management - bills for air conditioning are often incorrect or late. No clear order causing issues. To add to this it takes days to resolve.
Would like to add the staff within the buildings are great but the management office are near non responsive and incredibly unfair.”

“Extremely disappointing experience with Icon Casa from start to finish. In my personal opinion, the entire process felt designed to delay and frustrate tenants when it came to returning deposits. I had to go through RDC court proceedings, win the case, defend an appeal, and even open execution proceedings just to recover money that should have been returned months ago.
Even after judgment, there were continued delays and attempts to close the execution file before the full amount was paid. This created unnecessary stress, wasted time, legal costs, and months of frustration.
I would strongly advise anyone considering renting through this company to be extremely careful, document everything, and understand your legal rights from day one. Personally, I would avoid dealing with them again regardless of price.
Thankfully, Dubai’s legal system and RDC process ultimately protected my rights and ensured fairness prevailed, but i wonder how many people they managed to rip off who cannot speak arabic!!!”
