“I am writing to formally complain about the extremely unprofessional and discourteous behavior of the security staff at Al Manal Residence 1 during my visit today. I visited the building to collect two small second-hand household items (a single bed and a dressing table) that I had purchased from a resident of the building. Despite the resident repeatedly confirming my visit and we both requesting that I be allowed to enter, the security guard refused to grant access to collect the stuff. Me and the building resident was made to wait for approximately 30 minutes without being provided with any clear explanation for the refusal. Throughout the interaction, the security guard's attitude was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. Instead of communicating professionally or explaining the applicable policy, he continued to deny entry without justification. What was even more concerning was that the security guard collected my Emirates ID and recorded my personal information despite having no intention of allowing me to enter the building. If entry was going to be denied, I would appreciate an explanation as to why my personal information was collected in the first place. This incident caused me unnecessary inconvenience, wasted a significant amount of my time, and resulted in a financial loss of AED 100, which I had already paid for transportation and pickup services. I respectfully request that the building management review the CCTV footage from the reception area to assess how this matter was handled. I also urge you to investigate the conduct of the security guard involved and ensure that all security personnel are properly trained to treat residents and visitors with professionalism, courtesy, and respect while clearly communicating building policies. I look forward to your response and to learning what corrective measures will be taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.”
