What one reviewer said

“I lived in a 2-bedroom apartment in Dana Al Garhoud for 3 years. The building itself is okay and my neighbors were nice, but the overall experience was negatively affected by the management company. There is also a small garden area near the building, and because of that we often had small ants inside the apartment. The place has potential, but with the current management, it was difficult to enjoy living there. I cannot give a higher rating.”

  • Tip

Avoid units next to trash rooms - garbage management is poor and attracts cockroaches.

“I would NOT recommend this building based on my experience as a resident. One of the biggest issue was the extremely poor sound insulation. Every morning my husband and I would wake up because of noise from common areas or the street. Privacy and comfort were significantly affected by how easily sound traveled through the building. Our apartment was located next to the trash room, which created additional problems. Residents frequently left garbage outside instead of placing it inside in the designated room, and management didn’t do anything to address the issue. As a result, we occasionally found cockroaches coming into our apartment from under the entrance door. Maintenance was another major concern. We experienced a leak from the bathroom ceiling that eventually flooded the apartment. When I reported the issue, the response from security lacked any sense of urgency despite the seriousness of the situation. Even more frustrating, the repair was not done properly, and the leak happened again later, resulting in mold growth. The building’s emergency support procedures were also disappointing. If a resident accidentally gets locked out of their apartment, security is unable to provide immediate assistance. Instead, residents may have to wait up to two hours for a key to be brought from the management office. In a situation where someone has food cooking on the stove or another urgent issue inside the apartment, this delay could potentially create a serious safety risk. For a building that requires a 10% security deposit covering appliances and equipment, the quality of the provided kitchen appliances was surprisingly poor. The washing machine repeatedly stained my clothes, causing damage to personal belongings. The air conditioning system also appeared to suffer from inadequate maintenance. The performance was poor, and given the overall condition of the unit, it seemed unlikely that regular servicing was being carried out. Considering the rental price, the overall quality, maintenance standards, pest control, responsiveness, and resident support fell far below expectations. Unfortunately, my experience did not justify the cost, and I would not choose to live in this building again.”

“It is nice residence building but tiny for studio. It is not so luxury building. There is 2 buildings which are A and B. It was planed for hotel or service apartment before. So, the layout and decoration ate quite like hotel. Swimming pool and gym room are provided. Small garden for relaxing located between both buildings and connected together. A bit pricey compared to the market. It is located in a convenience area and easy access to airport road.”
