Unfortunately, there has been a clear and concerning decline over the past few months. Common areas are no longer being properly maintained, and there is a growing issue with pests such as cockroaches and rats. Ongoing work in shared spaces appears to be carried out without adequate pest control measures, which is unacceptable and directly impacting residents. “We have been residents at Dubai Wharf for over 7 years, and until recently, the experience has been excellent with consistently high standards of maintenance and cleanliness. Unfortunately, there has been a clear and concerning decline over the past few months. Common areas are no longer being properly maintained, and there is a growing issue with pests such as cockroaches and rats. Ongoing work in shared spaces appears to be carried out without adequate pest control measures, which is unacceptable and directly impacting residents. Equally concerning is the lack of accountability when issues are reported. Security repeatedly dismisses concerns by stating that anything inside apartments is not their responsibility, despite the obvious link to poorly maintained common areas. Residents are then redirected to “management,” which functions as a call center with little effective resolution. The parking area is another major concern, with garbage left unattended for extended periods, resulting in foul odors and contributing to the pest problem. This is not the standard we have experienced over the years, nor what residents should expect. We genuinely value living here, but immediate attention and corrective action from management are needed to restore basic hygiene and maintenance standards.”
