Sadaf is a development of nine towers in Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai. Dubai Properties Group and TECOM Group completed it in 2007. Shared facilities include a swimming pool, a gym and a sauna. Sobha Realty Metro station is a 12-minute walk, and the Jumeirah Beach Residence 1 tram stop is 1 minutes away. Within 800 metres there are 124 places to eat, 22 shops and 16 pharmacies and clinics. On foot it rates as very walkable. Registered rents start around AED 71k a year for a studio.

“Sadaf 8 in JBR is my first accommodation when I arrived Dubai. I saw the reviews about security and how bad it is. I'm not sure how the reviewer handled the security but these are my thoughts. First, they are only doing their jobs. If you complied and do the proper check-in/documentation, there will be no issues. I saw a lot of people entering without access card and they have the audacity to shout and belittled the guards (they are just asking your identification and if you're new to Dubai don't misunderstood their tones while talking to you) Second, if you live in Sadaf 8 or any towers in Sadaf, how come you don't have your own access card issued by your landlord? “Sadaf 8 in JBR is my first accommodation when I arrived Dubai. I saw the reviews about security and how bad it is. I'm not sure how the reviewer handled the security but these are my thoughts. First, they are only doing their jobs. If you complied and do the proper check-in/documentation, there will be no issues. I saw a lot of people entering without access card and they have the audacity to shout and belittled the guards (they are just asking your identification and if you're new to Dubai don't misunderstood their tones while talking to you) Second, if you live in Sadaf 8 or any towers in Sadaf, how come you don't have your own access card issued by your landlord? Even if your on aribnb or holiday room they will issue a copy of the access card, so you don't have any problem coming in and out of the premises. Third, show some respect to the guards and don't show you're above them (if you are you should find another place and maybe go to Palm Jumeirah and see if you can find guards whose not doing their jobs). Another thing to note is Sadaf JBR community is very safe, well maintained and a very good place to live in my personal opinion. There are some issues for sure but you can't find heaven on earth.”

“Sharing apartments are not allowed in this building therefore security does not let anyone in. Be careful of scammers on the internet, this building does not allow sharing.”

“Its unfortunate my bad experience with the security at the main gates. The security in the building is fine. Its the bad experience at the main entrance. They are so rude. Unproffesional. I am a resident why are you treating me like a prisioner. The security company should be replaced. I can see im not the only one who has issues with security. Its a shame because the apartments are big. the location is fantastic. but i could never recommend this building.”

“Disgusting security guard standing on level B. Broken access card forced to go around to another level. We have been living here for over a year. Watch your staff, who assert themselves at the expense of residents who have lived here for a long time”

“Very bad experience we are having in Sadaf 8 i have been living almost 4years in JBR in different buildings and never face issues like that. Securities are so rude they think they are the owners of the apartment. There is always issue with access cards and always every morning noise from neighbour apartment seems like somebody open furniture fabric . All in all my opinion if you want better experience don’t come to stay in Sadaf 8 especially this building”

“Why are the security so rude. I have a move out permit. The security refuses us to move. For no reason but a power trip. I had to personally come down to the office and be shouted at by a security guard. Excuse me. I own my home. Why are you shouting at me. The permit is approved. The delay means my move in permit for my new apartment has expired. there is only a certain time frame. Now as i read the reviews on this building. Everyone complains about the security. This is embarrassing for you.”
