What one reviewer said

“Very bad experience I was close to death because of hi sandy team I lived in this building for five years, and unfortunately my experience with Hi Sandy has been very disappointing. Communication was consistently poor, and maintenance issues often took far too long to be resolved. The final incident was unacceptable. Despite us being in contact for weeks about replacing a bounced cheque and confirming that we would pay, the management disconnected our electricity and water. I have a breathing condition and ended up in hospital after being left without air conditioning for hours in extreme heat. The electricity was only restored after the police attended. Payment disputes should be handled…”

Payment disputes should be handled through the proper legal process, not by disconnecting essential services. After this experience, we no longer feel safe and will not be renewing our tenancy. Not to mention the lack of communication, maintenance, they attract you at the beginning then no one replies to you for any problem unless they want money.”

“Please do not rent a unit in BNH Twin Tower. This building is poorly maintained and management is extremely unprofessional and money-oriented. The corridors have broken tiles, and instead of proper pest control, they only spray water around the corridors. As a result, cockroaches, lizards, spiders, and other pests are everywhere, including inside the rooms. The lifts are frequently defective and very slow, and our washroom did not even have an exhaust fan. Maintenance service is unacceptable. When issues are reported, the team arrives 2–3 hours late, if at all, and they are not available on holidays. Some issues were never fixed properly during our entire stay. In fact, a bulb that was not replaced during handover was only addressed four months later, and we were charged for it. If you want work done faster, staff indirectly expect extra payment, and when this was reported to management, it was completely ignored. During renewal, management overcharged us. Our contract clearly stated a renewal fee of 1000 + 5% VAT, yet they charged double and added an additional maintenance fee of 5500. When we raised concerns about rent increase—despite RERA clearly stating our unit was not eligible for an increase—they dismissed it, saying they couldn’t do anything because the unit was initially rented at a discount. They will use any excuse to keep your money. Communication is another major issue. Before moving in, they were very responsive via WhatsApp groups and emails. Once we moved in and all payments were made, they stopped responding, left the WhatsApp group, and ignored follow-ups unless money was involved. The unit had leaks and fungus even though it was newly occupied. However, when we moved out, they conducted an extremely strict inspection, unlike the careless inspection during handover. They charged us for damages to the bathroom mirror and kitchen sink that already existed when we moved in. Despite these being noted earlier, they used our entire security deposit to cover defects that were clearly not caused by us. Why should tenants pay for long-standing defects and incomplete maintenance? This building has many vacant units, and tenants are constantly moving out—which says a lot. Management does not value loyal tenants and only responds when payments are involved. Important advice: If you still decide to move here, take detailed, zoomed-in videos and photos of every single corner before moving in, or you will be charged later for pre-existing damage. Do not waste your time, money, or peace of mind. DO NOT RENT WITH HI SANDY at BNH Twin Tower.”

“Please do not get a unit in this building. They lured us in with a 12 cheque deal but the building is not well maintained. No pest control. The lifts are always defective and slow. Our washroom doesnt even have an exhaust! If we call the maintenance team they come very late (2-3 hrs after) and they are not available on holidays. Upon renewal, they charged us double for renewal fee (the contract we signed mentioned 1000 + 5% VAT) and added a maintenance fee of 2500. When we contested for the rent increase since RERA clearly mentioned that our unit is not eligible for increase, they still insisted they couldn’t do anything since we got the unit w a discount. We tried bargaining for a 12 checque since we are old tenants, but they also did not consider. It is only for new tenants. In short, they will make up any excuse to keep their money. They dont value loyal tenants. Their move out policy is also very confusing and restricting. Even for a simple furniture move out, you have to secure an email approval. (We only wanted to sell things because it would not fit in our unit) It shouldnt need this much steps and approval since it’s our own furniture anyways. We recently moved out and they thoroughly checked the whole unit unlike during initial handover to us. They charged us for the damages to the bathroom mirror and kitchen sink which was already like that when we moved in! Due to all damages the inspection person took note, they completely consumed our deposit. But during our stay their maintenance team did not completely and properly fix everything. Why should the tenant shoulder maintenance of the unit? It’s like they gave us a perfect unit when in reality, their unit has a lot of defects and they will charge the cost fir fixing to the old tenants deposit. Their building has A LOT of vacant units and people are constantly shifting which IS NOT a good sign. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. DO NOT RENT W HI SANDY”
