The Haven Tower B is an apartment building in Al Safa, Dubai. Within 800 metres there are 1 place to eat, 1 shop and 1 school or nursery. On foot it rates as mostly car-dependent.
“I have been living in this residence for a few months now, and unfortunately, my experience with the management and maintenance services has been disappointing.
One of the main issues is that maintenance work, such as pool cleaning, floor cleaning around the pool area, gardening, and other related tasks, is often carried out during peak hours when residents are trying to enjoy the facilities. For example, it is common to see these activities taking place on Saturdays around 10 or 11 a.m., which is precisely when many people want to relax by the pool. These tasks should be scheduled much earlier in the morning to minimize disruption.
As a woman, I also find this uncomfortable. Relaxing and…”

Each card is a real, public Google review of this residence, sorted into our ten questions – answered only where the reviewer said something, and marked “Not answered” where they didn’t. “Have lived here for 10 months , love the building and I do appreciate how decisive the management team are in resolving issues. I fully appreciate what the team do here. The facilities of the building is fantastic, in a nice quiet location. I am very happy here . I don’t really understand some of the other petty negative reviews I’m seeing here.”

Relaxing and sunbathing by the pool is not particularly pleasant when maintenance staff are constantly working around the area. It takes away from the sense of privacy and relaxation that residents expect.
I also agree with previous reviews mentioning that management seems excessively focused on monitoring residents. While I understand that rules are necessary, there is a constant feeling of being watched. Residents receive calls, messages, and reminders for even minor issues, creating an atmosphere that feels unnecessarily intrusive. I have never experienced this in any other residential community. Additionally, the intercom is often used at inappropriate or unusual hours, which can be quite disruptive.
Finally, I find it unacceptable that, in Dubai, Tower B has outdoor parking spaces that are exposed to direct sunlight all day long. During the summer months, getting into your car becomes extremely uncomfortable and, at times, unbearable. I do not understand how a residential development of this standard—and certainly not an inexpensive one—can lack covered parking. Installing proper shade structures should be a priority so that residents do not have to endure these conditions every time they need to use their vehicles.
Overall, while the building has many positive aspects, these issues significantly affect the quality of life and should be addressed by management.”

“There are several management and operational issues in this building that need urgent attention.
First, the lifeguard is highly unprofessional. Most of the time, he is not at the pool area where he is supposed to be. Instead, he can often be found having coffee outside, sitting in the service room, walking around the corridors, or looking at his phone. A lifeguard’s primary responsibility is to supervise the pool when residents are using it, and unfortunately this is rarely the case.
Another major issue is the parking situation. It is unacceptable that in Dubai, where summer temperatures can exceed 50°C, most of the private parking spaces are completely exposed to direct sunlight. The inside of the vehicles becomes unbearably hot, and residents are forced to wait several minutes before being able to drive safely and comfortably. This should be a priority for management.
In addition, there are frequent tours around the building. Almost every day, groups of 15–20 people walk through the pool area while being shown the facilities. This constantly disrupts the privacy and peaceful atmosphere that residents expect when using the amenities.
Finally, maintenance work is often scheduled at inappropriate times. It is common to see maintenance activities taking place around the pool during weekends or peak usage hours, which unnecessarily disturbs residents. These tasks should be planned for early morning hours when facilities are not being used.
Overall, the building has potential, but the quality of management and day-to-day operations is disappointing and requires significant improvement.”

“Honestly one of the worst residential experiences I’ve had in Dubai.
The building management seems more focused on monitoring residents and sending unnecessary warning emails than actually fixing serious issues inside the building.
The property has ongoing hygiene and maintenance problems including geckos, insects, and even cockroaches in common areas. Recently, I personally found a cockroach on the main entrance door handle — completely unacceptable for a residential building that charges premium rents.
Security and safety standards are also questionable. Residents still drive the wrong way inside the parking area, while management priorities seem directed toward trivial matters instead of real safety concerns.
The atmosphere feels extremely uncomfortable and hostile for tenants. Instead of creating a welcoming community, residents constantly feel watched and pressured over minor things while major building issues remain unresolved.
I have lived in multiple buildings before and never experienced this level of poor management, lack of professionalism, and overall discomfort.
Definitely not renewing my contract.”
