“Wasl properties, especially those of recent construction, repeatedly suffer from persistent odours, problems within the air-conditioning ducts and flies that move freely both indoors and out. Complaints rarely produce a lasting solution and sometimes produce none at all. Departure is desirable yet contract-break penalties deter it. Gaps between the living space and the refuse room remain unsealed despite requests. Fly populations and refuse smells continue while higher rent is paid; the standards expected of Wasl appear to be missing. (Positives: Application to view availability and maintenance. Negatives: Very bad smells inside the house and lots of flies.)”
