“I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
They try to keep tenants' security deposits even when the apartment is returned without any damage, and the management staff are often rude and unprofessional (I know this for a fact from fellow neighbors and friends who have resided here along with myself and my husband). The common areas constantly smell of strong cooking odors, and there have been ongoing issues with ceiling leaks that have led to mold. The building is poorly maintained, and the overall experience has been very disappointing”

“The worst building I have ever lived in. Avoid Stella Tower and UStella Rentals at all costs.
I lived here for five years, and it was five years of endless complaints, excuses and complete incompetence. The management team is unprofessional, dismissive and unbelievably rude. They pretend to listen and act concerned, but nothing is ever properly resolved. Their entire approach is to delay, dismiss and hope tenants eventually stop complaining.
The employee turnover is shocking. You will find a different security guard almost every day, and the constant revolving door of staff tells you everything you need to know about the instability and poor management of this building.
The ventilation is absolutely disgusting. Cooking smells from other apartments constantly enter your home through the vents, and opening the windows only makes it worse. Imagine paying rent just to have your apartment repeatedly filled with other people’s cooking smells. I complained about this for years, and they still failed to provide a proper solution.
The building also has serious leakage, mold and maintenance issues. Mold repeatedly appeared on my ceiling because of building related leaks. Instead of repairing the actual cause, their maintenance team simply painted over the old cracked and damaged area. They even discovered a hole inside the bathroom piping, yet that was also never properly fixed. This is the standard of maintenance you can expect here: cover it up, ignore it and leave the tenant to live with the consequences.
The final insult came when I moved out. I left the apartment in immaculate condition, yet they deducted AED 1,400 from my security deposit for ceiling damage caused by their own leakage, mold and poor maintenance. They refused to accept responsibility, refused to offer any reasonable solution and spoke to me with complete disrespect. They are effectively making the tenant pay for the consequences of their own failure to maintain the building.
Do not be fooled by how the apartments look during a short viewing. Living here is an entirely different reality. Expect cooking smells, faulty ventilation, recurring mold, leakage, incompetent maintenance, rude management, endless staff turnover and complaints that go nowhere.
After five years, my honest advice is simple: save your money and stay far away from Stella Tower and UStella Rentals. Dubai has countless better buildings with competent management, proper maintenance and basic respect for tenants. Renting here was an exhausting mistake.”

“I lived in Stella Tower for over three years, and it’s genuinely disappointing to see what this building has become.
When I first moved in, Stella Tower was one of the best-managed residential buildings in the area. The reception team was exceptional, the security staff were familiar faces who knew residents by name, maintenance requests were handled promptly, and there was a genuine sense that management cared about the people living here. It felt like a community and was a building I regularly recommended to friends and colleagues.
Over the years, that changed dramatically.
The building appeared to shift its focus away from long-term residents and increasingly toward short-term rentals. More apartments were converted into short-term stays, trusted staff members disappeared, and security personnel changed so frequently that there was rarely a familiar face for more than a few weeks at a time. Many of the staff that residents genuinely respected and trusted were no longer there, and the overall quality of management noticeably declined.
What concerns me most, however, is the state of the building’s infrastructure.
Prospective tenants should understand that while many apartments are being cosmetically refreshed with new flooring, furniture, paint, and finishes, the underlying issues may still remain. Cracks in walls, recurring leaks, poor ventilation, and mold were among the issues I personally experienced during my tenancy.
My experience with mold was one of the most frustrating experiences I have had as a tenant.
For many months, concerns were repeatedly raised regarding moisture, leaks, and the condition of the apartment. Despite ongoing reports, the issue continued to worsen behind the walls. During this time, I became progressively more fatigued and unwell. I could not understand why my energy levels were declining or why I felt noticeably better whenever I spent extended periods away from the apartment.
Eventually, mold was discovered within the walls.
The discovery explained months of unresolved concerns and coincided with many of the symptoms I had been experiencing. The situation became so severe that a significant amount of my furniture and personal belongings had to be disposed of and replaced at my own expense.
What made the experience particularly disappointing was that, after months of reporting the issue and seeking assistance, meaningful action only occurred after discussions around a potential escalation to RERA. Until that point, I felt that the seriousness of the issue was not being fully acknowledged.
Ventilation throughout the building was another recurring concern. It was not uncommon for cooking smells from one apartment to spread across entire corridors and floors, raising questions about the effectiveness of the ventilation and extraction systems.
I will be attaching photographs to this review so prospective tenants can make their own assessment based on the condition of the building and the issues I encountered during my tenancy.
The most disappointing part is that this was once a fantastic building. It had excellent staff, a strong sense of community, and management that appeared to care about residents. Over time, many of those qualities disappeared, and the building became increasingly difficult to recommend.
If you are considering renting here, I would strongly encourage you to look beyond the renovated surfaces and staged apartments. Ask questions about leaks, ventilation, maintenance history, building infrastructure, and how resident concerns are handled over time.
The apartment may look great during a viewing, but my experience taught me that appearances do not always tell the full story.”

“This used to be a good building but not anymore, the management is extremely poor yet rigid, the tiny gym is under maintenance forever, they are turning the place into a hotel so you never know who is living in the building anymore and the worst of all you only get 1 parking spot no matter how big is the space you are renting, they will tell you there is no parking then they will tell you if you pay extra they can give you one”
