“Security personnel are entirely absent, allowing unrestricted entry by any passer-by. Advertising leaflets regularly appear inside individual flats and the main entrance lock is broken. Although free maintenance is advertised, none is supplied and even shared spaces go untended. Corridor cooling never operates; the gatekeeper explains that the owner switched it off because of high electricity costs. The gym and pool are in dreadful condition—water is unclean and the exercise room smells foul. Covered parking is restricted to a handful of units favoured by the keeper.
