“Occupation of MAG 214 in JLT has proved highly satisfactory. Traffic is minimal, the Marina lies within walking distance, a metro station is close at hand, and the surroundings include lakes and a park. Dining and drinking venues occupy the ground level, together with walking and cycling paths and an outdoor exercise area. The tower itself receives proper care, security arrangements are reliable, and the flat’s proportions are ideal—neither excessive nor inadequate—with a full park outlook. The south-facing pool looks onto trees and parkland and is very pleasant. The gym is compact yet compares favourably with those in many other towers. Noise levels are somewhat elevated but the building remains calm, so the disturbance is minimal. The principal drawback is that service charges sit relatively high compared with peer buildings, although upkeep remains good for a structure more than fifteen years old. Original finishes are modest, yet the fully renovated interior of my own unit is tastefully executed. Overall assessment is positive. (Positives: JLT is a peaceful and very pleasant area to live.)”
