Jumeirah Lake Towers is made up of 26 clusters of high-rise towers set around four artificial lakes, between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road and directly across the motorway from Dubai Marina. The clusters are lettered rather than named. There are no villas: it is all apartments, and many towers put homes and offices in the same building.

It is the cheaper side of the motorway for a broadly similar life, with two Red Line stations, walking routes around the lakes and most towers accepting pets. The mixed use and the age are the catch. Lifts get shared with office tenants, parking runs out, and service charges and building management differ hugely between clusters.
