“Dear future residents considering National Bonds Plaza,
Unfortunately, I feel obligated to share my experience honestly and transparently.
The apartment I currently live in has developed serious issues with humidity and mold over time. Several walls have been affected by mold, and in my bathroom, a hole formed in the wall/ceiling area, allowing cockroaches to enter the apartment.
I reported this issue to the maintenance team and have been following up for almost a month without receiving a proper solution. It was only after expressing my frustration and informing them that I intended to leave a public review that I was finally allowed to speak with the plumbing manager, who promised to contact me. Residents should not have to escalate matters publicly in order to receive attention.
Another major concern is the cockroach problem throughout the building. It appears that pest control is either insufficient or not carried out frequently enough. Based on my experience, I can confirm that previous reviews mentioning this issue are accurate. In addition, the cleanliness of the corridor floors is often below an acceptable standard.
The windows and balconies accumulate dust very quickly and require constant cleaning. Sound insulation is also poor, making it easy to hear noise from outside and neighboring units.
The gym equipment is not maintained in good condition, and the security service leaves much to be desired. Security staff rarely ask visitors where they are going, and basic courtesy is often lacking. Even when residents are carrying heavy shopping bags, assistance or simple gestures such as opening doors are uncommon.
One of my biggest concerns is the air-conditioning maintenance. When service is requested, the units seem to receive only a superficial cleaning rather than a thorough inspection and deep cleaning. In addition, the AC unit produces a loud and persistent noise that has not been properly addressed.
To be fair, the location is excellent and highly convenient. However, the overall standard of maintenance, customer service, pest control, cleanliness, and building management falls significantly below expectations.
I sincerely hope management takes residents’ concerns seriously and implements meaningful improvements. Until then, I would encourage prospective tenants to carefully consider all reviews before making a decision.”

“DON'T LIVE HERE - 0 STAR
I moved into this building after the renovation, and honestly, I regret the decision. While the apartments may look renovated at first glance, the reality becomes clear from day one—and it’s extremely disappointing.
The overall quality of the building is very poor and far below what any decent residential standard should be. The windows are not dust-proof at all, requiring daily cleaning, and there is no sound insulation—it feels like you are living on the street. The balcony doors appear dirty but are actually damaged internally, and management refuses to replace them.
Inside the apartment, the issues continue. Room doors do not close properly, and the handles constantly come loose. Although maintenance provides temporary fixes, they refuse to properly replace faulty items. The cupboards are poorly finished, seemingly painted with wall paint, which makes them look dirty, and the shelves are unstable and keep falling.
The bathrooms are a major concern, with a constant sewage smell that has not been resolved despite repeated complaints. I have confirmed with neighbors that this is a building-wide issue. Additionally, the faucets, showers, and fittings are of very low quality and rust quickly, yet management refuses to replace them.
Maintenance overall is extremely disappointing—they often ask tenants to purchase spare parts themselves and only provide basic labor. Even simple replacements, like chandeliers, must be done through them at inflated costs (around AED 500 each).
Ventilation is another serious problem. Strong cooking smells constantly enter the apartment from neighbors, and each room seems to carry different odors. The guest bathroom is particularly bad due to smells coming from the garbage chute.
Parking is also an issue. Despite having a two-bedroom apartment, only one parking space was allocated. On top of that, there are AC leaks dripping onto parked cars—I personally experienced damage to my Mercedes and had to repaint a door because of this.
Common areas are poorly maintained. Corridors are consistently dirty, and cockroaches are frequently visible. Garbage rooms are often overflowing, and waste collection happens after 1 AM, which—combined with poor soundproofing—causes constant disturbance.
The gym is in unacceptable condition, with broken and rusted equipment, high humidity, and a very unpleasant smell, making it unsafe to use.
Overall, this has been a very negative experience. Despite the initial appearance after renovation, the building suffers from serious maintenance, hygiene, and quality issues. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting or buying here to think carefully before making a decision.”

“80% of the gym equipment is broken and the building manager refuses to fix or replace the equipment despite speaking to security daily about the issue. To say this building comes with “a fully equipped gym” is a joke when it’s just a room full of broken things and some weights. Not a good experience”
