“Positive features: the building ranks among the more acceptable options in Tecom. As the first occupants of the unit we regard it with particular care. For the cost of a one-bedroom apartment a second bathroom would have been preferable (some units include one at the expense of fitted cabinets, which were prioritised). Layout is pleasant and the bedroom is larger than many alternatives viewed. Neighbours represent a variety of nationalities and backgrounds; the atmosphere is comfortable. Visitor parking is plentiful. Maintenance response is rapid and the watchman remains consistently attentive. A supermarket occupies the ground floor. Negative features: the pool is adequate but some gym equipment is clearly second-hand. Complaints from residents below the gym led to a 10 p.m. closing time—inconvenient for evening exercise and necessitating a five-minute drive to an alternative facility. Additional cooling charges (Emicool) also apply. Overall the building is unassuming yet fulfils its purpose effectively. (Positives: Economical, Layout, Decent Finishing. Negatives: Not the best amenities, quite a walk to the metro.)”
