Al Jafiliya is a small district between Zabeel Park, Satwa and Sheikh Zayed Road, just short of the Trade Centre roundabout. It mixes older apartment blocks with villas, consulates and government offices. The Red Line station on its edge, long known as Al Jafiliya and now carrying a sponsor name, leaves most of the area within walking distance of the metro.
It is central and quieter than Karama or Satwa next door, and rents are moderate for where it sits. The buildings are older and low-rise, retail comes down to local shops and Al Hanaa Centre, and events at the Trade Centre and Zabeel push traffic through the streets. The condition of individual blocks is what varies most.
