Nad Al Sheba sits inland from Downtown, between Al Ain Road and Ras Al Khor Road, and runs in four numbered sections. It is villa country: Nakheel's gated Nad Al Sheba Villas, large plots through sections 2 and 3, and apartment buildings mainly in the first section, where the Meydan development runs up against it.
It is quiet, close to Downtown by car, and popular with families who want a house rather than a flat. Schools, parks and cycling tracks sit inside it. There is no metro: the nearest station is roughly a quarter of an hour's drive, so a car is a requirement. Retail is thinner than the location would lead you to expect.
