The Greens is an Emaar development of around 40 low-rise apartment buildings arranged in ten clusters, between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road next to Barsha Heights and The Views. It was built from 2003 onward, laid out around courtyards, pools and planting that has had time to grow in, with studios up to four-beds.
It works for small families, professionals and dog owners: the community takes pets and is genuinely walkable, and Internet City station is a short walk or a three minute drive. Rents have climbed hard in recent years. The buildings are two decades old now, parking runs to one space per flat, and how well a cluster is kept differs between them.
