Damac Hills is a gated community of roughly 42 million square feet on Al Qudra Road in Dubailand, built by DAMAC around the Trump International golf course. It splits into more than thirty sub-communities: around 3,400 villas and townhouses on the inside, and some 7,000 apartments in blocks nearer the edges.
It is rented and bought for the space, the greenery and the park, and it works best for families and people who work from home. It is also a long way out. There is no metro, central Dubai runs thirty to forty minutes on a good day, and living here without a car is not realistic. The apartment buildings vary far more than the villas do.
