Motor City sits between Dubai Sports City and Studio City, off Hessa Street, and is built around the Dubai Autodrome. It is deliberately low-rise. Uptown Motor City holds most of the apartments in small blocks around courtyards and squares, with villa and townhouse clusters and the Green Community section next to them.
The layout makes it one of the more walkable places outside the coastal strip, which is what draws families and long-stay residents who do not want a tower. Rents are middling. There is no metro station, Hessa Street backs up badly at rush hour, and most of the buildings date from around 2010, so maintenance standards have started to separate them.
