Al Wasl is the strip between Al Wasl Road and Jumeirah, north of Business Bay and inland of the beach. Most of it is villas on established plots. The apartments sit in newer developments at the Downtown end, City Walk chief among them, and Box Park and the Coca-Cola Arena fall inside the same boundary.
It is central without being a tower district, which is unusual in Dubai and priced accordingly. Schools, parks and the canal are close, and Downtown and the beach are each a few minutes by car. There is no metro, buses along Al Wasl Road are the public option, and the apartment stock is small enough that choice is limited.
