Jumeirah Village Triangle is Nakheel's other village, next door to JVC and laid out in nine districts between Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Al Khail Road. It holds more than 13,000 homes. Villas and townhouses came first and still set the character of the place; the apartment buildings are low-rise and mostly line the outer roads.
It is quieter than JVC and cheaper than anywhere coastal, which is why families and pet owners end up here. Schools and small retail sit inside the community. There is no metro station: Internet City is about a quarter of an hour away by car. Apartment blocks are still going up, so build quality is uneven and the construction noise moves around.
