Nad Al Hamar is in eastern Dubai between Ras Al Khor and Mirdif, with Ras Al Khor Road along one edge. The layout is simple: apartment blocks cluster along the main road and villas and townhouses sit behind them. Dubai Festival City and the airport are each about ten minutes away.
It is quiet and rents are low, which suits families who want space near the airport or the Festival City offices. Retail comes down to a supermarket and a couple of small centres. There is no metro station, bus routes are thin, and the roads out fill up at peak times, so nearly everyone here drives.
